Pottery with a Difference 

cheshire firs 01In the heart of the pretty Cheshire countryside is The Firs Pottery, built up by Joy and Ken Wild at Aston Crossroads, Whitchurch Road, Nantwich (A530).

You can browse in the two-story shop/showroom displaying an attractive range of stoneware (their specialities include oven and microwave ware, lamps, castle bowls, vases, planters and indoor fountains).

There is an adjacent workshop where locals and visitors can try their hands at producing pots on "Making Days". 



cheshire firs3We throw and hand build a wide range of functional and decorative pots.

We use stoneware clay, fired to 1260 degrees C in electric and gas fired kilns.

Our pottery can be used in a conventional oven, microwave and dishwasher.

We have pots to suit all pockets, our range includes - lamp bases and shades, vases, salt pigs, puzzle spheres, castle bowls, grass holders, cheese dishes, flan dishes, planters, plant pot holders, party bowls, general purpose bowls, fish dishes, casseroles, storage jars, jugs, wine jug and goblet sets, coffee sets, mirrors, pot pourri pots, platters, mushroom pots, aromotherapy burners, clocks, toast racks,and potato bakers, mugs & indoor fountains.
