Explore the undulating grounds of Grime's Graves, the only prehistoric flint mine open to the public in the UK, before heading deep underground into the prehistoric flint mine (wearing your hard hat!). Flint knapper Will Lord will be on hand to wow visitors with tales from prehistoric days as he demonstrates exactly why flint was so important and what it was used for. Kids can get hands on a try making sparks, creating string or even making an arrow head.
