FOOD & DRINK Here at The Baiting House we're passionate about supporting local farmers, butchers and producers. Our kitchen uses simple, seasonal ingredients to create amazing food that gives a new twist to traditional British dishes.
Private Dining We have three private dining spaces at the Baiting House, two of which even have their own bathroom facilities.
Whether you're looking for an intimate dinner for two, a family reunion or a bigger event we have just the space for you.
For larger parties we can also offer exclusive use of the whole dining room.
Drinks We're as passionate about local produce with our drinks as we are with our food. Our ale selection focuses on the great beers produced by the Wye Valley Brewery just down the road, complemented by ales from Hobsons Brewery in Cleobury Mortimer and the Ludlow Brewery.
Our ciders are from Tenbury Wells and from Herefordshire. We even take the local theme to our spirits, where we stock the entire selection of gins and vodkas produced by the amazing Chase Distillery. You'll also find a few Chase cocktails available.
Our wine list reflects our approach to enjoying good food and good wine. It offers all the classics but also tries to be a little bit adventurous. We offer a wide selection of delicious wines by the glass, and also have a "private reserve" of great quality wines for that special occasion.
OUR AMAZING ROOMS Enjoy our lovely new Meadow Rooms, set in the glorious grounds of the Baiting House.
Our rooms all offer comfy beds, crisp cotton linens, flat screen TVs, power showers and luxury toiletries.
Our six new Large Meadow Rooms are located in the extensive grounds, close to our Lodges, and have lots of room, with an en suite bathroom and a large bedroom with king bed and sofa or armchairs to relax. The Meadow Rooms have a sink and a fridge. They also have private patios with outside furniture.
Rooms in the pub itself are generally cosy but lovely. 3 have king beds and 2 have doubles.
